Equipment Specialist - Oaklahoma City, OK Position Description:
§ Provides technical management support to customers using detailed knowledge of ALC managed electronics, communications, vehicles, aircraft and support equipment
§ Provides technical assistance to others in solving complex technical problems.
§ Responsible for part number requirements from Air Force bases, other DOD agencies, FMS and overhaul contractors.
§ Makes firm recommendations on whether or not contractor deviations to a part number or if substitute items offered by contractors are acceptable.
§ Utilizes a wide range of maintenance concepts, principles and practices of specific systems/equipment.
§ Performs functions using knowledge of required safety regulations, practices, and procedures.
Qualifications &/or Skills:
§ Experience in a scientific, engineering, or technical field of which five (5) years shall be in direct support of engineering activities/functions
§ Must be able to analyze and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals and technical data and to identify and analyze complex technical problems and develop solutions.
§ Must be familiar with automated data processing concepts and systems capabilities to complete assignments.
Education Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree is required.
Work Location: Oaklahoma City, OK
Sumaria has multiple positions available that can accommodate entry to senior levels of experience.
Clearance Required: SECRET. Must be able to attain a SECRET clearance.
Compensation will vary by experience.
