Systems Engineer - Ogden, UT

 Sumaria has multiple positions available that can accommodate entry to senior levels of experience.

 Position Description:

 §         Provide a broad range of software/systems design, development, testing, upgrade and maintenance services.

 §         Work with embedded software and hardware in support of Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), Operational Flight Programs (OFP) and/or Mission Planning Systems.

 §         Refresh software by integrating new technologies into existing and new hardware systems.

 §         Provide configuration management, documentation and process control support.

 Duties & Responsibilities:

 §         Perform systems requirements analysis.

 §         Evaluate existing source code for errors and/or upgrades.

 §         Analyze hardware/software interfaces.

 §         Prepare and test hardware/software.

 §         Prepare documentation and maintain configuration in accordance with standards and procedures.

 §         Work as part of a project team and participate in peer reviews.

 Qualifications &/or Skills:

 §         Must have a good understanding of hardware/software integration and systems.

 §         Must have experience with C, C++, C#, Visual C. Experience with Labview, Jovial,  Fortran 77, HP-1000 RTE, IDL, or ATLAS would be a plus.

 §         Desired hardware experience includes A/D, D/A, and video interfaces; PXI based hardware systems, RS232, GPIB/HPIB IEEE-4888 interfaces; and Sun platforms.

 §         Should be familiar with SEI CMMI, AS9100, and Six Sigma processes.

 §         Must possess strong organizational and technical skills and a history of achieving goals.

 §         Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills.

 §         Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Project, Excel and in database use.

 §         Should have experience developing and modifying Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) using Very High Speed integrated Circuits (VHSIC) Hardware Descriptor Language (VHDL)

 Education Requirements:

 §         A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required. A degree in Technology, Computer Science, or Mechanical Engineering will be considered.

 Work Location:  Ogden, UT
Clearance Required:  SECRET.  Must be able to attain a SECRET clearance.
