Job Description:  

The HR Recruiting Specialist will support IT Division sourcing and recruiting efforts for cleared DOD positions in both CONUS an OCONUS locations. This position delivers high quality technical and professional candidates while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the selection process.

Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

  •  Collaborating with hiring managers to source and recruit for various IT positions.
  •  Manages/Administers the Applicant Tracking System in compliance with all applicable Department of Labor posting and Affirmative Action reporting requirements. (i.e. posting windows; assigned access; required resource links)
  •  Managing multiple requisitions, formatting and posting job descriptions; ensuring compliance with EEO and OFCCP mandates
  •  Determining and implementing sourcing strategies; identifying, screening, and extending offers
  •  Supports Hiring Manager in developing comprehensive Position Description (PD) which requires knowledge of the DoD and clearance level job market.
  • Evaluate and screen potential hires, and assist them through the interview and hiring process.
  •  Enters the Position Description to the Applicant Tracking System and posting to applicable required web based outreach options
  •  Ensures applicants apply on line – providing required EEO data, and electronically complete Sumaria’s detailed employment application.
  •  Monitors the Positions/applicant tracking; Code the Disposition of applicants (rank/meet-don't meet quals); conducts initial screens; feed the screen results to the Hiring Manager (via e-mail link) for decision/direction.
  •  Facilitate recruitment outreach from working with hiring managers on defining skill needs to building a talent pool and hiring.
  •  Prepare all IT Division employment offer packages in Company Staffing Database for Corp. Human Resources
  •  Conduct all IT Division candidate in-processing and new employee orientation
  •  First point of contact for employees on payroll, benefits, company policies, short-term disability claims, security matters, etc.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  •  Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Human Resources or equivalent work experience
  •  Minimum of 5 years of talent acquisition/recruiting experience, preferably in a DoD contractor environment. Must have demonstrated recruiting experience, preferably hiring and onboarding personnel with security clearances.
  •  Must have experience performing full lifecycle recruiting within the DoD industry; from initial intake of requisition through onboarding personnel.
  •  Must have experience evaluating resumes against specific technical requirements or strong ability in technical writing.
  •  Prior experience with an Applicant Tracking System is preferred.
  •  High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
