Job Description:

The Junior Technical Sourcer/Recruiter will support sourcing and recruiting efforts for cleared DoD positions in both CONUS an OCONUS locations. This position functions as a member of the IT Division and is responsible for executing strategies that support the organization’s hiring needs.

Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To:

  • Proactive daily sourcing of cleared candidates with NAC, Secret, Top Secret, and Top Secret/SCI clearances.
  • Source both active and passive candidates via job boards, cleared candidate databases, Boolean searches, x-ray searches, etc.
  • Pre-screen incoming resumes, phone screen candidates, and present recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Network with individuals in the DoD community to establish and grow talent pipelines.
  • Ensure consistent application of Recruiting and Human Resources process and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws including OFCCP, EEO, and AAP.
  • Build strong relationships with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure a firm understanding of open roles
  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to optimize performance of job listings
  • Utilize creative sourcing techniques
  • Identify, explore, and execute effective tactics for sourcing and screening candidates
  • Identify and interview potential candidates gaining a depth of insight into their skills, experience, motivations, and situations, then shortlisting the best of them and presenting their profiles
  • Create and own a positive candidate experience by developing and maintaining strong relationships with regular touch points and diligent follow through
  • Assist in keeping our ATS system up to date and accurate
  • Document ongoing activity in various databases in the applicant tracking system

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ previous experience in a recruiting or sourcing role, preferably technical field
  • Must have previous experience with Boolean search methods and an ATS/HRIS.
  • Strong sourcing expertise.

Preferred Experience:

  • At least one (1) year of experience recruiting for DoD/Cleared positions.
  • Previous experience in a high volume, fast paced work environment.

Other Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a willingness and passion to go above and beyond to support the Recruiting team’s sourcing and recruiting needs.
  • Must be assertive, work with a sense of urgency, and have a strong work ethic.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work with little direction.
  • Must have strong organizational, time management, verbal and written communication, and customer service skills.
