Equipment Specialist Support

Job Title:  Equipment Specialist Support

Job Description:

Provide support for the regeneration, conversion, and modification of AMARG stored Block 15/25/30 F-16 aircraft to the QF-16 Aerial Target Program. This will require technical support services for QF-16 avionics systems, subsystems and programs; as well as support mechanical systems issues. Tasks include actions required to monitor/track and prepare TCTOs to correct deficiencies such as operating instructions, overhaul, repair procedures, and/or modifications to the aircraft.  

Provide support with the preparation of technical feasibility studies; assemble pertinent data and technical features in conjunction with applicable engineers and system equipment specialists.  Assist with the finalization of related documentation/information for presentations. Prepare AFMC Form 873 for Technical Order Changes/Corrections and other related forms and processes required to maintain assigned Technical Orders and Technical Data. 

Recommend and develop executable programs to be considered for use in ensuring the operation and evaluation of assigned systems.

Assist Government equipment specialists and logisticians in conducting special research projects assigned to the aircraft sustainment organization. Support the USAF PM in tasks related to this effort. 

Assist with spares provisioning and interface with appropriate inventory managers located within a variety of DoD agencies. Identify QF-16 spares requirements and support the coordination of programming the requisite funding to meet the identified requirements. This includes research of technical data packages and recommended level of maintenance for source maintenance and repair codes.

Support and assist with trial installations, kit proofs, and TCTO/tech data verification.  Report findings, kit issues, corrective actions, and make recommendations to the responsible modification manager or PM.

Required Skills/Education:

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in fighter aircraft avionics maintenance.

Education:  High School or GED Equivalent

Years’ Experience:  10 Years

Security Clearance Required:  Must have Active Secret clearance to apply.
