Job Title: Financial Analyst

Job Description:

This position requires a candidate who has the knowledge, skills, and ability to independently apply working knowledge related to DoD policy and guidance outlined in DoD FMR 7000.14R, Budget Guidance & Procedures (AFI 65-601 Vol. 1), Budget Management for Operations (AFI 65-601 Vol. 2), Cost Analysis Guidance and Procedures (AFI 65-508), Appropriations Symbols and Budget Codes (AFMAN 65-604) and GAO Fiscal Principles of Federal Appropriation Law.

Typical duties may include working with DFAS, vendors and program or contract managers to perform contract reconciliation; monitoring the flow of USAF funds such as congressional actions, Program Authority, Budget Authority by utilizing the USAF Congressional Domain and AFM System; must be able to perform a comparisons among SMART, Executive CCaR, and Web CCaR to ensure financial data is accurate; use Web CCAR to assist with loading and reviewing obligation and expenditure forecasting, reconciliation, loading budgets, preparing and initiating target loads, and funding documents specifically PRs, MORDs, and MIPRs; use FM Suite in order to conduct Tri-Annual reviews; work with program and financial managers to prepare charts for and conduct Financial Execution Reviews for Senior Leadership; and, review of all MIPR and Miscellaneous Obligation Reimbursement Document (MORD)s on a monthly basis against current policy and procedures to ensure the required documentation is attached in order to pass audit reviews.

Required Skills/Education:

Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant filed plus five (s) or more years of general FM and accounting experience with at least four (4) years of experience in USAF acquisition FM, budget building, planning, distribution and execution process and systems, cost estimating and EVM, program scheduling and USAF/DoD financial systems. Alternatively, the candidate may substitute an Associate's degree with nine (9) years of relevant experience or a high school degree with eleven (11) years of experience.
