Configuration Manager Assistant

Job Title: Configuration Manager Assistant

Job Description:

Will be required to support the administrative functions associated with configuration management (CM) and data management (DM) tasks related to the development, production and support of F-16 weapon systems, subsystems, and related equipment acquired by the USAF for USAF, EPAF, and FMS programs, as described in the paragraphs below:

*Provide support to Engineers and PMs in organizing and issuing Data Calls. This support shall include drafting of Data Call letters for government review and release.

*Plan and execute various standing F-16 engineering and CM meetings, like the F-16 Consolidated Board, the Airworthiness Board, Requirements Boards, and Safety Meetings. Arrange for VTCs and teleconferences. Prepare and disseminate briefings. Run presentations. Record and transcribe action items and meeting minutes.

*Provide CDRL support. Receive incoming CDRLs. Prepare data review documentation. Participate in data reviews. Draft data review minutes and action items. Follow up on maintain files and the status of action items.

*Provide Data Item Description (DID) support. Assist users and requestors with the selection and tailoring of DIDs from DoD database; prepare one-time and standard DIDs; fill out data management forms related to DIDs.

*Assist with managing Deficiency Reporting (DRs), to include receiving, processing and tracking DR

Required Skills/Education:

Must have more than three (3) years of DoD acquisition program office Configuration Management or Data Management (DM) experience along with a bachelor's degree in a relevant field; or nine (9) years of configuration management experience with a high school degree. Must be organized, professional in appearance and demeanor, and have a track record of successfully working with a wide range of professionals.
